PREDICTING WHICH BLASTOCYSTS WILL DEVELOP INTO FETUSES: TIME INTERVAL FROM MORULAE TO BLASTOCYSTS IS A NOVEL AND USEFUL INDICATOR FOR SUCCESSFUL PREGNANCY

چکیده

The increased use of blastocyst transfer has emphasized the importance selecting high-quality embryos. Analyses embryos in a time-lapse incubator system showed that zygotes with shortest intervals between first and second or third mitotic divisions were higher rate. Additionally, developed relatively faster to morulae blastocysts had implantation rates. However, useful indicators predict which will develop into fetuses without pregnancy loss have not yet been identified. Do time interval fetuses? Different chromatin and energy/redox responses of mouse morulae and blastocysts to slow freezing and vitrification

BACKGROUND The ability to cryopreserve mammalian embryos has become an integral part of assisted reproduction, both in human and veterinary medicine. Despite differences in the size and physiological characteristics of embryos from various species, the embryos have been frozen by either of two procedures: slow freezing or vitrification. The aim of our study was to compare the effect of slow fre...

O-23: Transfer of Blastocysts Derived from Frozen Thawed Cleavage Stage Embryos Improved Ongoing Pregnancy

Background: The aim of our study was to compare the resulting from transfer of embryos that cryopereserved in cleavage stage after thawing and transfer of embryos after thawing and culture in sequentional media until blastocyst formation. Materials and Methods: In this prospective clinical study, we have evaluated 128 cycles in women undergone in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intracytoplasmic sp...

A new safe, simple and successful vitrification method for bovine and human blastocysts.

This study examined a new method for vitrification of blastocysts that is safe, simple and easy to learn and use. Current vitrification techniques have shortcomings that include the use of dimethyl sulphoxide, one of the more toxic cryoprotectants, and minute containers that are difficult to handle and are usually open to contamination. Cell handling and loading times are very short, which allo...

Generating Porcine Chimeras Using Inner Cell Mass Cells and Parthenogenetic Preimplantation Embryos

BACKGROUND The development and validation of stem cell therapies using induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells can be optimized through translational research using pigs as large animal models, because pigs have the closest characteristics to humans among non-primate animals. As the recent investigations have been heading for establishment of the human iPS cells with naïve type characteristics, it...

Better perinatal outcomes following transfer of fresh blastocysts and blastocysts cultured from thawed cleavage embryos: a population-based study.

BACKGROUND Fresh embryo transfer results in higher live birth rates, while thawed embryo transfer appears to result in healthier babies. This study aims to investigate the association between the transfer of fresh or thawed embryos at the cleavage or blastocyst stage and the perinatal outcomes. METHODS This analysis is a retrospective population-based study of 150 376 autologous embryo transf...
